Structural Design for Expandable Prefab Home -- 2
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I am seeking a qualified professional to assist with the structural design and drafting of a 76 sqm 3 bed room 1 or 2 bathroom, open plan living and kitchen single storey prefabricated expandable home, ensuring compliance with Australian Standards and NCC codes. The project requires comprehensive design work across various components, including foundation and footings, framing and load-bearing elements, roof and wall cladding ( Roof and wall will be made with EPS sandwich panels ).Floor and main structure will be made out of galvanized iron steel.

Key Requirements:
- Design and drafting of foundation and footings as per Geotec with general assumptions
- Framing and load-bearing elements. for the floor, walls
- Roof and external wall cladding
- Insulation details
- Hydraulic and electrical plans
- Waterproofing details for wet areas
- Detailed site plan, elevation, sectional plans, and floor plans
- Compliance with all requirements to sign Form 15 and Form 43
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Expertise in structural engineering and drafting
- Familiarity with Australian Standards and NCC codes
- Experience in designing prefabricated homes
- Ability to produce detailed and accurate plans
- Strong understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and insulation systems
- Attention to detail and ability to ensure compliance with legal requirements
