SketchUp Landscape Plan Drafting
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have a paper plat plan for a residential lot that I now need redrawn at a larger 1" = 8' scale in SketchUp, delivered as a digital file. Your first task is to recreate the existing layout exactly as shown on the paper copy, keeping every dimension true to the new scale.
After that baseline model is complete I will send you field-measured dimensions for the front sidewalk and planting beds that do not appear on the original survey. Those items must be incorporated cleanly into a second draft so the drawing reflects current site conditions.
Once the enlarged plan with walks and beds is in place, I will mark up plant locations and send them back to you. You will position each plant accordingly and generate a coordinated plant schedule on the drawing that lists both Latin and common names.
Deliverables
• SketchUp (.skp) file for each draft, ready for future edits
• PDF sheet at the same 1" = 8' scale for printing
• Final plan containing all plant symbols and a complete plant list
Acceptance will be based on accurate scaling, correct placement of my supplied measurements, and a legible, well-formatted plant list on the finished sheet.
