Site Analysis
Location map/diagram, describe the location and context in graphic detail
Notes and sketches-
A method of unstructured observation of the site.
Notes writings and descriptions of people, experiences and sketches of residents, situations, maps, construction details and facades.
Architectural Studies-
Studies of the structure of the space to show how spaces are formed and used within the site.
Narrative Exercises-
A series of narrative exercises containing phenomenological journeys through lived experiences traveling through the site. The narratives will be presented in a structured collection of mappings illustrating the journeys carried out accompanied with text and images.
Physical Survey-
A Physical survey will be carried out to measure the site resulting in beautifully drawn Architectural drawings including sections and plans.

Assessment Criteria (20 % of course grade)
Students will be assessed on the following:
Originality of Concept and presentation of site drawings and studies
Ability to communicate and defend their initial ideas and observations of the site
Oral presentation skills

Minimum Requirement-
Proportionally correct or scaled Plan in different scales also showing site context
Proportionally correct or scaled Section in different scales also showing site context
Proportionally correct or scaled Sketch Elevations of all the internal walls (x4 minimum) in different scales also showing site context.
