Single storey extension
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
We are planning to build a single storey rear extension to our home under permitted development. No formal drawings are available but we have a very experienced builder and have personally completed many substantial projects over the years.
We require calculations and beam type/size for 2 openings.
1. 4m wide x 2020 height opening to accommodate a 4 leaf bi-fold door which operates from the base. 2 pillars are are planned and are both 1m external and .750 m internal
2. 2.3m wide x 1.4m height opening to accommodate a window.2 pillars are are planned and are both 1m external and .750 m internal.
The construction is brick up to DPC and 4'' concrete block externally and 4''thermal block internally with 100mm cavity wall insulation.
The 8'' roof timbers for the flat roof will span the 4.3m width at standard spacings.A roof lantern will be installed into the central part of the roof measuring 2.5m x 1.5m. The roof insulation will be Alwitra single ply warm roof deck system.
Can you please provide a cost for the required works.
