I am seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to design and stamp an ADA compliant curb (disabled ramp) for downtown streets in Seattle.
Key Details:
- Primary Users: The curb designs should mainly cater to the needs of pedestrians with disabilities and cyclists.
- Onsite Visits: While I can provide a sample ramp, the project requires the successful freelancer to visit the site personally for accurate measurements and planning.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience navigating city planning and permit approval processes
- Civil engineering background with a specialty in accessibility standards, specifically ADA
- Detailed-oriented to ensure the design is compliant and serves the needs of its primary users
- Familiarity with the topography and urban planning of downtown Seattle would be a plus
- Good communication skills to understand my vision and provide updates with progress
