Hi, I recently hired a TaskRabbit to reinforce a wall shelf on a load-bearing exterior wall of a third floor apartment. I am a renter. He installed 3-inch wall brackets and since then I have noticed shock waves emanating from the wall and can hear a cracking sound. The shelf seems sturdy and I don't see any cracks but I am honestly scared and don't feel safe in my apartment.
