Residential Home Plan Drawing
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I’m looking for someone with a vision for design. Who can give me ideas and options. To help me design and draw a set of residential home plans. 3000-3500 sq feet. Single family. One story, 3 bedroom floor plan. Split level bedroom. Jack and Jill bath. Master bedroom, Master Bath, dressing area, and large spacious closet. A place for my gun safe in the dressing area.
I’m looking for someone who can help me design/draft a One Story House Plan similar to the California home that was in the hit movie (from 2006) starring Cameron Diaz…. The Holiday.
Home design possibly L-shaped. A front porch entry into main foyer. Foyer height tall, and somewhat octagon shaped with high ceilings with a skylight above front door. A half bath on right side of the front door, a coat closet on the left side of the front door. A door into Kitchen/family room from the right of foyer, a door into a home office from the left of foyer. I’d like to look out of a wall of windows from the kitchen to see across the pool into my master bedroom. I want the main living/den area in the center of the house. Between kitchen and master suite. Living/den area preferably behind the foyer. A straight walk thru into living/den through the foyer. Pool directly ahead in the lawn. I’d like the kitchen, living room, and master bedroom to wrap around the pool in the lawn. One covered porch behind the living room.
Also, small pantry somewhere near the kitchen.
Kitchen spacious enough for a large work island, a round table for 10, and a seating area over looking the pool. A large double.. fridge/ freezer. Microwave and upper/lower oven in the wall.
Walkway … from kitchen & out of master bedroom as you cross through the living room… (but walkway airy, and open to den area) French doors leading to covered porch & pool area from walkway. I want the Kitchen, living room, and master bedroom to enjoy the view of the pool.
I’d like the Kitchen and Master bedroom “exterior doors” to open to the covered porch behind the living/den area.
I’d like an oversized 2 car garage in the back, (but attached to the main structure. A workshop/storage room on the right side of front of the house as you pull in…with a drive through Portiche between the workshop/storage room and a side entry door into the home kitchen.
I’d like the exterior home plan to be a very very simple, but very elegant and modern. I like a modern ranch or California home design.
Very simple, yet elegant.
The home is going to sit under a setting of 60 year old, majestic, Live Oak trees. So I want the property to be the focal point. The home design as if it’s always been there. Soft exterior lighting. I like a lot of windows and natural light.
I’m attaching a couple of exterior home designs that I like. Mine doesn’t have to look exactly like this.
