Residential Extension: Floor Layout Design
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I'm looking to extend my home for extra living space, and I need expert assistance to design the floor layout. This Medium-sized (200 - 500 sq ft) extension will include two bedrooms - one master bedroom with a full bathroom (standing shower is fine), another bedroom, a laundry closet, and storage area.
I have attached the drawings in this request for reference. The extension will be on the 2nd floor, on the north side of the house, above the 1st floor dining room (11' 7" x 20' 1") and the room (11' 7" x 16' 8"). I am also looking to remove the 2nd floor west bedroom (7' 11" x 11' 3") to accommodate this design.
The successful freelancer will have experience in designing extensions that maximize available space creatively while maintaining a comfortable and functional living environment. Proficiency in residential architecture and interior design, with a particular focus on designing bedrooms and convenient laundry areas, would undoubtedly give you an edge in this project. An understanding of structural soundness considerations alongside aesthetic appeal is paramount.
