Renovation of 1907 brick home
Budget: $50 – $0 AUD
House has a single corridor - with rooms off to one side. North facing rear. 14 ft ceilings. Jarrah floorboards.
I would like to:
- Remove fireplaces (4 in total) - in corner of rooms
- Make it open plan living - flip where the kitchen and living rooms are. Increase the size of the living room by around 1.5m (incorporating the sleep out - this won't change the roof line - as the sleep out has a separate roof).
- Currently have outside laundry. Bring laundry into the house - near the bathroom (where current stairs to outside are).
- Renovate bathroom (there is asbestos between the bathroom & current kitchen wall).
- Slightly sloping block
