Personal Garage Truss Replacement
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I require assistance in replacing the existing king post trusses in my garage with new scissor trusses. This is a personal project to enhance the structural integrity of my garage and improve its aesthetics.
What you'll need:
- Experience with truss replacement, specifically, transitioning from King post trusses to Scissor truss
- Respect for personal property and space during the project
- Ability to work autonomously and efficiently
Ideal Skills:
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations related to garages and trusses
- Strong construction and carpentry skills
- Accuracy in measurements and installations
- Attention to safety during work from heights and with heavy materials.
This is a 24' x 24' poll building garage . I do not need all trusses converted - probably for only 10' (4 trusses). I need to get headroom for a car lift. Contemplating rafter conversion or scissor trusses. Which ever will work best
