Outdoor area

We need help to design a great outdoor entertaining area for our home. The design needs to add both character and value to the home, whilst considering function, outlook, the climate of the region, and aesthetics. We need the area to blend in with the home's existing internal layout and be an area that is easy to entertain and enjoy the company of friends & family. We need the area to include a fireplace, BBQ, outdoor style kitchen, abundant natural light, warm/natural construction materials, feel spacious, and maintain the existing outlook. It also cannot block the sun from coming into the family room area.
