Optimize Residential Floor Plan Design
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I previously hired a freelancer to create a custom floor plan for my dream home. Unfortunately, the result was disappointing: the design is oversized, inefficient, and includes far too much wasted space, which would drive construction costs through the roof. I'm now looking for a reliable, experienced architectural designer or drafter to take the existing floor plan and optimize it. The goal is to reduce wasted space, improve flow and functionality, and make the layout more practical and cost-effective—without compromising the design intent.
Project Requirements:
Analyze the existing floor plan (I will provide the file)
Identify and reduce areas of wasted space
Improve layout efficiency and logical flow between rooms
Maintain the general style and features I want, but make it more buildable
Deliver a revised floor plan
What I'm Looking For:
Professionals only—experience with residential floor plan design is a must
Strong attention to detail and spatial design
Good communication and responsiveness
Willing to make reasonable revisions
NO bait-and-switch pricing — bid only what you expect to be paid. If your real fee is $200, don’t bid $50.
No half-baked work — I want this done properly the first time
