I am gearing up for the full-scale design of a large municipal oil-recycling plant here in the UAE and need an accomplished MEP consultant to guide the engineering from concept through issued-for-construction drawings.
The plant demands coordinated Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing solutions, yet the mechanical side carries the greatest weight: industrial process piping, heavy-duty HVAC for hazardous areas, and a robust fire-suppression approach that satisfies local Civil Defense requirements. Electrical and plumbing integration must dovetail smoothly with these mechanical decisions and with the municipality’s sustainability targets; minor structural coordination will arise where your layouts affect supports, pipe racks or equipment platforms.
I have preliminary process information and site constraints ready. Your expertise should translate that data into a fully documented MEP package—calculations, BIM-ready drawings, equipment schedules, and compliance narratives aligned with UAE codes and municipality standards. Interim reviews with my team will let us lock specifications before tender.
Deliverables I expect
• Complete coordinated MEP drawings (Revit or AutoCAD, your choice, IFC level)
• Design calculations for HVAC loads, pipe sizing, pump/fan selection, and fire-suppression hydraulics
• Single-line and control schematics for power and BMS interfaces
• Bill of quantities and equipment data sheets
• Code-compliance report referencing relevant UAE and NFPA sections
