(Naviswork) BIM Coordination
Budget: $30 – $250 SGD
A) Objective:
To understand the concept of BIM-applications in relation to the following:
o Extract quantities from BIM Model
o Prepare BIM model to analyse the construction sequencing plan
o Utilize information in BIM model for “construction drawing” views
B) Task:
Given a set of BIM models consisting of Architectural, Structural, Mechanical,
Electrical, Plumbing and Fire protection model, you are to separate and split the
models by Zone (1, 2 & 3) for construction sequence using shared parameter.
1. Prepare Construction BIM Model for Construction Simulation using Naviswork
a) Prepare a Construction Schedule
b) Prepare Construction Zoning Plan
c) Revise the Model to reflect sequencing plan
d) Create a 4D Time liner model
e) Monitor Planned and Actual Work Progress using BIM Model
2. Prepare Automated Quantities in Revit by
a) Item Count & Costing
b) Material Estimates & Costing
c) Object Estimates & Costing
3. Prepare Construction Drawing Plans by Area Plans and Schedule
Your submission should be in PowerPoint Slides with the following items highlighted:
i. Architectural Zoning BIM model with Comparison on Cost against Assignment
1 Architectural Model.
ii. Structural Zoning BIM model with Comparison on Cost against Assignment 1
Structural Model.
The model must be referenced properly with grid lines and level information. Proper
zoning annotation of the models are also necessary.
Finishes are not necessary, but will be good if you feel confident to undertake this task.
The model should be appropriately populated with components, either from
a) the Revit library,
b) from non-copyrighted material from the internet, and/or
c) developed by yourself

work can be submited portion by portion so 50% of the work by 4th january and the other half by 11 january
