We are seeking a highly creative and experienced freelance architect to design a modern, beautiful, and functional multi-use building in Daly City. The project consists of commercial and residential spaces, including a storefront, parking garage, and condominiums. We are looking for a designer who can blend aesthetics with practicality to create a standout building.
Project Overview:
• Location: The project is located at 6854 Mission Street, Daly City, CA USA with an additional entrance from Miriam Street.
• Floor Layout:
• First Floor (Entrance from Miriam Street): Due to the slope of the lot, the entrance from Miriam Street will be at a lower elevation and will serve as the first floor of the building. This floor will be dedicated to parking and must accommodate part of the required 50 parking spaces, utilizing tandem parking where needed. This level will also include stairwells and two elevators to access the upper floors.
• Second Floor (Entrance from Mission Street): The entrance from Mission Street will be at street level and align with the second floor due to the natural slope of the lot.
