Mountain Barndominium House Plans
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I'm looking to have the attached plans adjusted by making the following changes. Plans should be ready for a contractor to use.
Standard Metal roof and siding.
- 12" Overhang
- We need to add a mechanical room, -suggested locations: switching mudroom to entry, and making the entry room to a closed closet and moving lockers to mudroom or adding a room inside garage.
- Adding a fireplace to the center of the living room. * making living room bigger(see link below)

- removing doors 104 and 105
- increasing back porch to 17'W x 12'D x 9'H
- Front porch stay the same with ceiling height of 9'
- All exterior and plumbing walls 2"x6"
- First Floor - 9' Ceiling Height
Second Floor - 8' Ceiling Height
- Removing one bathroom from 2nd floor and changing the layout of the shared bathroom.
