Minimalist 2-Story House Plans
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
I'm looking for house plans for a 42 x 30 foot, 2-story, post and pier foundation, shed-style roof house. The tall side of the house should face east. The design should reflect a minimalist interior style. Key features of the design include:
- An open floor plan suitable for two adults with no children
- A garage or carport on the first level
- A second-story deck on the tall side
- Additional spaces on the second level designed as a home office and/or guest bedroom
The kitchen area does not require any specific features, but it should maintain the minimalist style and be functional for two adults.
Ideal skills for this job include architectural design, experience with minimalist designs, and knowledge of post and pier foundations. Previous work with shed-style roofs would be a plus. Plans should be up to Hawaii building codes and complete to the point where county can approve and stamp them for construction. Images attached for inspiration.
