JADU Plans
Budget: $20,000 – $50,000 USD
I am preparing plans to submit for permit for a JADU inside an existing SFD. The plan is to convert approx 414 sq. ft. of living room and dining room to a 1 bedroom and bath and kitchen unit.
The plan checker for the city informally told me that I needed to show a 1 hour fire separation with 20 minute rated door between the occupancies. The plan checker also told me he would need plumbing isometrics.
I need help to confirm my fire separation is proper and drawn plumbing isometric.
