Home construction plans
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I am looking for a skilled professional who can assist me in creating architectural plans for my home construction project, as well as a site plan for the house and lot. The plans will primarily be used for submission to the local planning authority, which is in the Caribbean country of Barbados, and will be referenced by Contractors for the sake of their quotations and for during the construction process.
The building will have 1 floor, and will be approximately 3,200 square feet, including garage and terrace.
A detailed design has already been done, however ideas for improvement are welcomed. Assuming no changes, this job is to mainly bring the existing plan up to architectural standards, including adding roof lines, and using specifications relating to bearing loads, wall thicknesses, and electrical, plumbing and sewage systems siting.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Strong knowledge and experience in architectural design, including an existing portfolio of completed projects
- Familiarity with local building codes in Caribbean countries, and regulations
- Strong proficiency in the English language
- Attention to detail and ability to accurately capture project requirements
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with the client
- Prompt responses to requests
