Hiring Florida Licensed Civil Engineer for Site Plan Approval
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
We are seeking a highly qualified and licensed civil engineer based in Florida to assist with the site plan approval and associated applications for a storage condo development project located in Wildwood, FL. This project involves developing (7) 12,000 SF buildings and includes stormwater management, sewage, utilities, and other infrastructure needs. The engineer must ensure compliance with the City of Wildwood, the Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD), and the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) regulations.
Scope of Work:
Site Plan Development:
Collaborate with the architect to refine the Architectural Conceptual Site Plan, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, including those set by the City of Wildwood, SWFWMD, and DEP.
Review and revise the Architectural Site Plan as needed based on feedback from the City of Wildwood.
Final Engineering Site Plan:
Prepare the Final Engineering Site Plan based on the approved Architectural Site Plan, adhering to the requirements of the City of Wildwood, SWFWMD, Sumter County, and DEP.
Develop comprehensive plans, calculations, and submittal packages for stormwater management to meet SWFWMD standards.
Permitting:
Prepare and submit application packages for site plan approval to the City of Wildwood.
Prepare and submit application packages for stormwater permitting to SWFWMD.
Prepare and submit application packages for domestic water distribution and wastewater collection to DEP.
Coordinate responses to all questions and requests for additional information from the aforementioned agencies.
Meetings and Coordination:
Attend all required meetings and site visits with the client and regulatory agencies.
Coordinate with all relevant stakeholders to ensure a smooth approval process.
Documentation and Reports:
Provide all necessary documentation and reports, including environmental impact assessments, soil reports, and utility connection plans.
Requirements:
Must be a licensed civil engineer in the state of Florida.
Proven experience with site plan approvals and permit applications in Wildwood, FL, or similar jurisdictions.
Strong understanding of the Florida Building Code and local zoning regulations.
Excellent communication and project management skills.
Submission Requirements:
