Garage to Living Space Transformation
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I'm looking to convert my garage into a living space. This includes transforming it into a bedroom, bathroom, and kitchenette. The project will involve:
- Designing and constructing a bedroom, bathroom, open floor plan living room and kitchenette within the garage space. The ceiling is finished, but the floor should be raised to match the house. This is 3 car garage with a double garage door and a single garage door. There are two doorway entrances: one to the house and one to the side yard. The measurements are 29 feet by 21 feet.
- Installing laminate flooring throughout the new living space, framing and putting up drywall.
Ideal candidates for this project should have experience in home renovations, specifically garage conversions. Skills in design and construction, as well as knowledge about creating functional, comfortable living spaces, are essential.
I need a construction plan to present to the city for permits.
