I’m planning on covering my back deck. The roof will be 12x15. With Maximus overhang of 24’’
I will be using LVL Beams attached to the side of the the house existing joist and corner posts.
The lvl will be 21 feet long with 4 feet’s of it attached to the house.
At the end will be anchored on already dug and filled up 24 inches(it’s actually way bigger in diameter but city put that much on section)
I will be using steal posts 1/4 inches gauge.
I will be attaching the LVL beam to the steal post with the following fasteners. And the footing with the following footers.
