Prepare initial spreadsheet of rough costing
Modify design to bring costs in-line with budget
Source and hire and liaise with engineer
Move to Windsor with puppies and live in trailer August 29, 2019
Live on-site to oversee all aspects of construction and provide security
Hire a lawyer to subdivide land and work with the city to complete the land transfer and purchase the laneway at the back of the property
Work with city to obtain permits, city backed up
Obtained courtesy permits to move forward with footings and foundations
Source and hire excavation of property to excavate for footings and foundations
Source and hire water, sewer and grey water vendor and supply same
Hire Enwin to supply power

Hire Enbridge to bring in gas lines
Daily oversight of all trades, materials and co-ordination of the trades
Some work starts for HVAC, plumbing, electrical
Covid hits in March and all work stops except for pouring of house walls and roof
Permits are slow to come in but work stops
I work alongside various trades to help move projects along
Sourcing and hiring trades becomes more difficult
Still living in trailer with puppies Linda is living in Toronto and acting as a TA
Most of the work inside the house required my direct labour as well as purchasing, hiring and supervision
All ceiling lights, fixture installations, doors, wall/ceiling panels/baseboards and appliances
Flooring epoxy fixes
