Eco-Friendly Octagonal Visitor Center Design
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a unique, one-floor octagonal house designed. This structure will serve as a visitor and educational center in the Judean mountains. The house should be made from a combination of wood and stone, with six rooms protruding from each of the six sides of the octagon. These rooms are intended to be workshops for ancient crafts, such as woodworking and stone masonry.
Key features of the design should include:
- A main room that serves as a kitchen, dining room, and living room, complete with a wood-burning stove.
- The use of sustainable and ecological design elements. This includes a rainwater harvesting system, composting toilets, and natural insulation materials.
- The strategic placement of a porch on one of the free sides of the house (opposite the porch is the entrance).
The ideal candidate for this project should be experienced in sustainable architecture and design, with a portfolio that showcases similar projects. They should have an understanding of working off the electrical grid and be able to incorporate solar panels into the design. A background in designing for educational purposes would be a distinct advantage. Please note that I will send a photograph of the location for your reference.
