Draftsman for Regulatory Compliance Projects
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
We are seeking a skilled Draftsman to join our team on a regular, hourly basis. Your primary responsibility will be to edit existing PDF files to create detailed floor plans, site plans, and other documentation required for audits by regulatory bodies. In addition, you will update plans with new work information from job sites. A key part of this role is researching local codes to ensure all plans comply with current regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Edit and update existing PDF drawings to produce accurate floor plans and site plans.
• Incorporate new job site data into current plans and modify designs as needed.
• Research and interpret local building codes and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with project managers and regulatory auditors to meet all audit requirements.
• Maintain clear documentation of all edits and plan updates.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Draftsman or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in editing PDFs and using drafting software (experience with CAD is highly preferred).
• Strong understanding of local building codes and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively on an hourly basis.
