Creative architect experienced with passiv shed house

Job ID: 32173794

Budget: $30 – $250 AUD

I am looking for someone to

a) design a passive shed house of about 200 sqm including about 30 sqm of a studio (but it should not be visible as a self contained studio as it would than be seen as two buildings within one) and about 30 sqm of Verandah devided between the main house and the studio. So 140 sqm the main house, 30 sqm studio and 30 Verandah.

Important is the following:
- House and Studio should be designed as a passive house so using all the elements
- We are looking for a shed house but not the boring classical one but rather a modern one. I will attach some pictures to show our moodboard.
- House and Studio should be connected, however each should have their outdoor privacy
- We need to built on a small budget so smart design is needed
- We will need engineers drawings at a later stage
- the design should include smart landscaping meaning making use of fruit trees, native trees, native bush AND a soft water swimming pool so no filter needed
- The house should have 3 bedrooms, the studio should have one bedroom. I would assume the bathrooms should be next to each other in order to save plumbing.

We are looking at some land but we dont know if we can buy it so I would give you the address. However it should be a rather generic site plan that can be adapted if the land site changes. The land we are currently looking at has a section that is classified as bushfire endagered. We dont know to what degree but that will have to be taken into account. So possible you would be the expert in knowing if, for example, the swimming pool should maybe be located on that side

Please answer the below questions.

Please write the answers in your own words. What experience do you have in regards to passive house. What is your philosophy in regards to designing houses and landscaping?

Do you have experience with australian regulations? Bush Fire areas?

Have you designed modern shed houses? With flat roofs? How can flat roofs work in terms of the rain?

Can you give me your idea which elements you would take into account to make sure it can be built on a budget?

What would you like to ask or say from your end?
