Cooperation with an interior architect on "chalet" style apartment in the mountains

We are reconstructing an apartment in the mountains, based on natural (-looking) materials, wood and stone. The current focus of the reconstruction is living room & kitchen, that are now separate. We will put the walls down and create 1 common space of an open kitchen, living room situated around the fire place with the view of the mountains, and a dining area. The place should be comfortable and cozy for 2, with the flexibility to be used for up to 6 people. We are looking for some architect's ideas how to setup the space well. The plan is attached.
