Budget: $30 – $55 USD
At our firm, we are looking to hire a building facade inspector/manager and architectural drafter. Applicant will be working at building sites throughout the 5 boroughs of NYC alongside engineers and contractors. The position will entail drafting, field work and miscellaneous project management for facade restoration projects. The inspections will be performed on scaffold drops and boom lifts.
Applicant must have ability to identify and assess deterioration of the various types of the exterior facades where work needs to be done.
-Understanding of construction documents, familiarity with architectural/engineering/construction methods and jargon, and familiarity with the NYC Department of Buildings
-Ability to produce a complete set of facade repair drawings, details, and specifications
-Scaffold certification and OSHA 10-hour certification are required
-Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word
-Capable of managing multiple projects at the same time
-Dedication and diligence are essential to the role
