1. Objective:
• The task requires the creation of a 3D Building Information Model (BIM) using Autodesk Revit based on 2D construction information provided in 2 Drawings for Mr. Jacob House.
2. Software and Installation:
• Autodesk Revit 2021 or 2022 for the task.
3. Component 1 - Grids and Levels:
• Involves the creation of grids and levels in Revit, with sequential numbering and alphabet assignment, as indicated in the provided drawings.
4. Component 2 - External and Internal Walls:
• Requires the construction of external and internal walls with specific dimensions, material types, and thickness, following detailed instructions on pages 3 and 5.
5. Component 3 - Slab Foundation:
• Involves constructing a 100mm Raft Foundation for the main floor slab, aligning the garage level with the main floor level, and creating separate slabs for the patio and porch.
6. Component 4 - Doors, Windows, and Furniture:
• Insert provided door, window, and fixture families into the model. Specific dimensions for doors and windows are provided, along with the layout for furniture and fixtures on Page 3.
7. Assessment 2.3.1 - Roof, Sections, Elevations, Dimensions:
• Requires the creation of a 3D roof with specified pitch and overhang. Two sections and four elevations are to be provided with detailed dimensions. Slope annotation for the roof is required.
8. Assessment 2.3.1 - Tags, Legends, Schedules:
• Add door, window, and room tags on the floor plan. Legends and schedules, including a color fill legend for rooms and separate schedules for floors, doors, walls, and windows, must be created.
9. Assessment 2.3.2 - Sheets and Views:
