Bathroom Laundry reDesign for New Build
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I need a simple bathroom/laundry redesign plan (2d and 3d) for a new simple low-cost build.
Architects drawings are complete but overall house length during foundation work has pushed it out by 500mm allowing for the laundry/bathroom area to be widend by 500mm.
I would like to see concept drawings of alternatives to have bathroom/laundry switched to make Bathroom an ensuite to Bed1 with secondary access to ensuite from the passage
Laundry area will include external door, incorporate a seated area to remove boots and have a seperate W/C are with small washbasin built into top of W/C cistern
Bed 2 and Bed 3 could be increased but not minimised
House is basically for 1 person with Bed 2 and bed 3 for occasional guests but 95% occupied by single elderly person so wheelchair/disabled access important, incorporating hand rails etc.
House is single storey on raised stumps. Solid timber floors except for bathroom/laundry which will be tiled. No under floor heating required but some electric heated towel rails
Key Requirements:
- Rural property. Laundry entrance to incorporate mud/wet area with sitting bench to remove boots next to external door
- Ensuite off main bedroom with swing or in-wall sliding door to between Bed 1 and ensuite.
- Ensuite to have minimum shower/wet area, possible bath if space allowed or incorporating bath/shower combo or alternatives, single vanity with storage, vanity mirror - incorporated toilet
- Laundry to incorporate 2nd self contained W/C toilet inc hand basin, laundry tub, washing machine, upright freezer and storage space
- Storage cabinets in laundry
- Laundry area must be separate from the en suite
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Experience with designing functional laundry and bathroom layouts
- can show examples of similar small re-designs
Prefer lump sum bid plus hourly rate for out of scope work
