Architect needed for affordable housing design in Ontario, Canada

Project Overview:

We are seeking an architect to design a six-unit multifamily home for our affordable housing subdivision. Each building will feature a central boiler (for in-floor heating) and HVAC system, and will be slab-on-grade, townhouse-style structures. Our primary goal is affordability.

What We Need:

- Design of functional and energy-efficient six-unit buildings
- Options for both 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom units, potentially
mixed within each six-unit building
- Integration of net-zero housing features (e.g., solar panels)
- Collaboration with the civil engineer for overall layout
- Detailed architectural plans for construction
- Innovative ideas to enhance the project
- Design that supports mass production and quick turnaround
times

Requirements:

- Experience in residential design
- Knowledge of sustainable building practices
- Proficiency in design software
- Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred:
