Architect needed to design 1100 sq ft summer home
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I'm new to building a home. I am need of an architect that has a flair for residential home design. I have a basic idea for a floor plan, but I'm open to floor plan ideas as well.
My preferences:
l/ A modern ranch look or a low profile exterior design with low sloping roof lines and wide eaves. Snow loads will have to be considered as we get 5' of snow.
2/Overhang roofs above decks/entry. The site gets constant sunlight from morning to sunset with trees surrounding the perimeter. House will face West so will need to design a way to get morning light into the main living area of the house.
3/Two bedroom and 2 bath on the main floor
4/Walk out basement which will remain unfinished for a year or two.
5/Prefer an open grand room with views of the river from the kitchen, dining, and living room with a window feature wall.
6/Carport with option for closing in one or both bays eventually.
7/Hoping for ADA bathrooms/doorways.
