We are a multi-disciplinary design and development team based in Newcastle, Australia.
We are looking for an architect certified for Class 2 Buildings in Australia to work with our team to complete the construction certificate drawings and working drawings for DA-approved apartment building in Newcastle for 23 units with one commercial space.
Ideally, you would have an interest in sustainable design and construction, and the ability to work to reduce costs in the construction phase.
Deep experience in projects like these, in Australian contexts, is a must.
We anticipate that there is about 200 hours of work to oversee and improve upon our in-house drafting of these documents.
For the right candidate, ongoing work exists, with the potential to join our team on a full-time basis.
We are a friendly, proactive team with members around the world. Excellent English skills are a must as you will be required to liaise directly with our builders under an ECI process. Strong attention to detail, and the ability to work to a budget are crucial.
