HETV Drama Budget Creation
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m producing a six-episode UK high-end television drama, sixty minutes per episode, and I need a fully built Movie Magic Budget file that reflects the realities of both real-world locations and studio work.
All typical cost lines for development, prep, shoot, and post must be itemised and slotted into the current UK rate landscape—crew, cast, fringes, insurance, equipment, clearances, travel, and contingency. Please structure the budget so it can be filtered by episode and by department, and make sure it is compatible with the latest Movie Magic Budgeting release.
Because we’ll split the shoot between practical locations and stage builds, I want the location lines to be easily lifted out for scenario planning. Break out tax-credit-eligible spend versus non-qualifying spend as separate columns so I can see our net position quickly.
Deliverables
– One .mbt file fully costed for all six episodes
– A PDF top-sheet and cost summary
– A short explanatory note (one page is fine) outlining assumptions on rates, shoot days, and currency conversions
Acceptance will be based on the file opening without errors, totals matching the PDF summary, and clear labelling of every section so we can update figures internally later.
