Garment Factory Business Plan
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I am setting up a new garments manufacturing facility that will produce casual wear, formal wear, and sportswear aimed primarily at wholesale buyers (Export). We will be setting up an export processing zone for this factory, and will be limited to sell export clients. To move forward with funding discussions and supplier negotiations, I need a concise yet investor-ready business plan focused on two core sections:
• Brief Market Analysis – I want clear data on demand trends for each clothing segment, competitor positioning, and any regional or global insights that can influence wholesale pricing and volume.
• Financial Plan – five-year projections with P&L, cash-flow, break-even, and key ratios, all linked to realistic production capacities and cost assumptions. Need to create an accurate budget. I can assist with some of the inputs but the freelancer has to have knowledge and experience of creating such financial plans as it is my first time too.
Marketing Strategy- A brief strategy of how we can market the factory capacity to exporters.
Note the business is based in Mombasa, Kenya.
Please structure the document so that I can hand it straight to lenders or partners: an executive summary up front, the detailed sections above, followed by any supporting charts or tables. Editable formats (Word or Google Docs) are preferred, with spreadsheets in Excel for the numbers.
Experience with apparel manufacturing and wholesale distribution analysis is a plus; include brief samples or outlines of similar plans you’ve completed so I can gauge fit.
