Fix BuddyPress Custom Fields Issue

Job ID: 39685769

Budget: £10 – £20 GBP

I need help troubleshooting and fixing an issue with BuddyPress custom fields on my WordPress site.

The custom BuddyPress group meta fields (max_members, equity_available, funding_required, industry) are not appearing on the Groups cards rendered by a custom Elementor widget.

Current Situation:
- Custom fields code is saved in the theme's functions.php file.
- After creating a group, custom fields values are not displayed on the group detail page or on the groups cards.
- Database inspection shows that these meta keys are not being saved to wp_bp_groups_groupmeta.
- The core problem lies in the save flow, not the render flow.

Additional Information:
- There are several plugins and custom code snippets that might interfere, particularly custom BuddyPress extensions.

Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Strong expertise in WordPress and BuddyPress.
- Proficiency in PHP, especially in WordPress hooks and functions.
- Familiarity with Elementor and custom widgets.
- Experience with database inspection and debugging.
- Ability to identify and resolve conflicts with plugins and custom code.

Please ensure you have relevant experience before bidding.
