Project Title:Crypto Monitoring Tool
Objective:
Create a simple, cost-effective tool for monitoring up to 3000 cryptocurrencies with minute-by-minute updates, focusing on essential features like price tracking, basic alerts, and a simple user interface.
Core Features:
1. Real-Time Data Monitoring
API Integration: Use a free or low-cost API service (mexc and coinmarketcap apis)
Data Points: Capture all data points such as price, volume, and market cap, updated every minute to a database
2. Basic Dashboard
Simple Interface: Develop a straightforward web interface where users can see real-time data for their selected cryptocurrencies.
Coin Selection: Allow users to choose favorite their preferred coins.
3. Alerts
Simple Alerts: Users can set basic price and volume alerts. Price increase %, or volume increase %, or volume for last minute is more than USD100.000.000 usd etc
Notification Delivery: Alerts sent via email or in-app notification.
Technical Approach:
1. Tools and Technologies
Frontend: Use a simple web framework like HTML/CSS/JavaScript (Bootstrap for quick design). or low code. There are some ready code in Git hub(open source)
Backend: Use Node.js with Express or Python with Flask to handle API requests and serve data.
Database: Use Google Sheets as a simple database alternative to store user preferences and alert settings.
APIs: Integrate with MEXC OR COINMARKETCAP
2. Infrastructure
Hosting: Use a low-cost hosting provider like Netlify (free tier) or Heroku
Deployment: Use GitHub Pages for hosting the static site if the functionality is simple enough to be handled client-side.
Key milestones:
monitor up to 3000 coins at any given time. Minute by minute.
