A Bubble.io Application: Comprehensive Measurement, Drawn element, Properties and PDF Management App Development
Budget: $750 – $1,500 AUD
I'm seeking a qualified developer with extensive experience in Bubble.io, especially with focus on PDFs, artwork, and measurements. The key objective is to create a robust platform unique to handling and managing PDFs.
Build my application on bubble.io, this is a custom web application that will need to look and perform exactly as per scope within the requirements files.
Key Features:
- Drawing Elements: The platform should allow users to make markings or annotate on the PDFs. This is to enable precise illustrations directly on the document. Experience with designing similar systems will be a plus.
- Canvas: A canvas feature is also needed for modifying and tweaking visuals. Prior work with canvas features will be helpful.
- Measurement: The app should contain measuring tools for precise annotations, knowledge and experience with implementing such features will be imperative.
- PDF Management: Despite not providing specific features, the candidate should be proficient in implementing a comprehensive PDF management system, considering factors such as editing, storage, sharing, etc.

- Upload PDF files - Store your projects and plans in one place online. *Any size document, PDF or images only
- Manage files folders and related features
- Apply canvas based elements that hold properties and key values for management within the database. All properties of these items must be database, saved for recollection and auditing purposes.
- Measure accurately to within 1mm, measure and mark-up plans onscreen seamlessly and without performance delay
- Must be able to export line item take-offs to spreadsheets in MS Excel worksheet formats, providing me (owner) a way to modify the template the system will use each time it exports
- Ability to export to PDF format with all the mark-ups and legend table (movable / placeable on the file)
- Measure lengths and areas
- Deduction measurement areas
- Count items
- Other shapes of measurements
- Data must be saved to Bubble's DB structures, retrievable each time users returns to the folder/file saved
- Responsive in full, design can accommodate any screen size
- Minimal plugins to be used (only bubble.io related features and technology).
All functionality must be exactly the same as demonstrated in the above and within the scope shown in the requirements files attached.
The freelancer must be willing to hold progress meetings in Australian business hours.
Contracted freelancer must:
1. *IMPORTANT: Be well experienced and full knowledge of using Bubble.io and related Bubble.io technology.
2. Must be able to produce drawn elements on layers, based scope per requirements in the attached files, using Bubble.io only. All drawn element functionality is to be demonstrated to myself with training to maintain it, including understanding how it’s been used so that I can alter/edit if needed. E.g. understand how you have developed this.
3. All technology used here, must be purposed within Bubble.io and related features. No external references, third party tools or products are to be used in making this. Only tool kits that are easily controlled and not requiring third party intervention e.g. A Third party or support from so other service or product to keep it going.
4. Be a full stack developer backend and frontend, understanding and making sound and methodical decisions related to future capability e.g. data structures that can be further leveraged
3. Able to complete this project within 2 months
I will provide the login and access to the bubble.io account for use. *The awarded freelancer must not use the site for demonstration nor marketing, advertising nor any similar purposes
*All IP are the sole ownership of the client (myself), the awarded freelancer relinquishes any and all rights to the sole ownership of the client
*The awarded freelancer agrees to non-disclosure of any and all discussions, related project materials and any other associated project artefacts must remain the property of the client and does not have permission to share nor disclose any related information to any such external party without the express permission of the client.
Please see the attached scope files, which describes the simple yet effective layout panels, tabs, buttons, popouts, panels to fit any screen size and then also responsive to stack as the device becomes smaller.
Required: Instructions on all that is needed to understand on how to configure and change settings based on panels size and functionality e.g. manual sizing vs responsiveness including key considerations and what-if scenario's i.e. when the user does something that impact another panel.
