Adalo external collections save a list or filter a list

Hey dear, I am looking for an adalo expert.
I created a adalo app and I have a issue to solve.
I get from an external collection by API a list of data that i can make visible. but now I want to save that list and I want to filter the list. If this is a normal list, I can do it but because it is from an external API with GET method, I dont know how to do it.
