Retro Florida Brochure Cover Design

Job ID: 39854748

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I’m refreshing the front cover of our Florida co-op’s information brochure and want it to feel as though it just rolled off a 1950s newsstand. The look should instantly evoke vintage Florida, with period-appropriate imagery and typography. Headline text is "The Florida Insider".

Key visual direction
• Center the composition on mid-century Florida architecture—think art-deco facades or pastel motels—letting classic cars play a supporting role rather than steal the spotlight.
• Overall palette and styling must read “retro,” but please avoid overly loud neon; tasteful, sun-washed tones tend to resonate best with our 55-plus readership.
• I’m leaning toward photographic or well-rendered illustration assets that clearly say “vintage Florida” at a glance. No need to add palms or other tropical clichés unless they naturally complement the scene.

Practical details
• Final size: US letter (5.5" × 11") with 0.125" bleed, CMYK, 300 dpi.
• Deliverables: print-ready PDF plus the layered source file (Adobe InDesign or Illustrator preferred).
• Include any free or licensed fonts and citations for stock images.

I’ll give feedback promptly and can supply the co-op logo once we start. If you’re passionate about mid-century design and can capture that breezy Florida nostalgia, I’d love to see your take.
