[Print] Cereal Box Packaging Redesign - GR
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
I am a Digital, UI/UX Designer and Art Director hailing from Athens, Greece and I'm seeking an experienced packaging design specialist to convert my approved visual and graphic designs into print-ready files for a cereal brand. Willing to split what I was paid for the job in half to get those print files ready for deployment.
The client has approved all creative work I've done, and I have the exact technical specifications from the print house. I need someone with expertise in packaging die-lines, color management, and print production to just finalize the files.
What I provide:
• All approved creative designs in Photoshop format (5 cereal box variants), they are in mockups but are not the exact size of the final boxes. They are close though, so there will be minimal changes to the composition itself. Since the mockups are not exactly the size of the requested final PDFs though, I expect there will be some inevitable miniscule changes in the sizes of some elements within the creatives. That's on your discretion
• Complete technical specifications and dimensions from the print company
• High-resolution product photography and all graphic elements
• Old design files to get a gist of how the previous finals designs in PDF were
What I need:
• Conversion of designs to vector format (Illustrator preferred). Most elements (except for the photos of course) are already in vector format though, so you won't be fighting for your life with that pen tool as there's not too much recreation work needed. Icons are in PNG format
• Proper setup of die-lines and cut marks according to print specs
• Color management (CMYK conversion with accurate brand color matching)
• Print-ready PDF files with appropriate bleeds, trim marks, and registration marks
• Quality control check for print production standards
• Brief consultation on any technical adjustments needed for optimal print results
Technical Requirements:
• Experience with food packaging (cereal boxes specifically preferred)
• Knowledge of offset printing requirements
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and packaging die-line creation
• (Highly Important) Understanding of Greek print industry standards
• Ability to work with provided technical specifications
Deliverables:
• 5 print-ready PDF files (one per cereal variant)
• Source files in Adobe Illustrator format
• Color reference guide for printer
• Brief technical notes/recommendations if any composition adjustments were made
