Custom "Periodic Table" Birthday Gift (Poster & Book)

Project Overview:
I am looking for a talented and creative graphic designer to help me create a unique and deeply personal 40th birthday gift for my wife, Jessica. She is a chemist, and the core of the gift is a "Periodic Table of Jessica"—a custom periodic table where each of the 40 elements represents a key memory, personality trait, or inside joke from her life.
This is a sentimental project that combines a clean, scientific aesthetic with a warm, personal, and loving tone. I have already developed the core concept, content for many of the elements, and a detailed design blueprint; I need a skilled designer to partner with me to bring it to life professionally and creatively.
Scope & Deliverables:
This project has two primary deliverables:
1. The "Periodic Table of Jessica" Poster:
* A high-resolution, print-ready digital file (PDF preferred) of the custom periodic table featuring all 40 elements.
* The poster should be designed for a standard print size (e.g., 18x24 inches or 24x36 inches).
* The design should follow the provided layout concept, incorporating all 40 unique elements, color-coding, and a title/legend.
2. The Companion "Element" Book:
* A print-ready digital booklet (PDF) that serves as a guide to the poster.
* Format: Each page or two-page spread will be dedicated to one of the 40 elements.
* Content per page: Will include the element's details (name, symbol, etc.), a longer paragraph describing the story behind it (which I will provide), and a corresponding photograph (which I will also provide).
* Total Pages: Approximately 45-50 pages, including a cover, a short introduction, and one page per element.
Assets I Will Provide:
* A complete document with all text for the 40 elements (names, symbols, atomic numbers, "discovered by," and detailed descriptions for the book).
* A detailed design brief and blueprint, including the desired grid layout for the poster, color palette ideas (her favorite color is purple), and the structure for the element boxes.
* A curated folder of ~40 high-quality photos to be used in the companion book.
Desired Style & Aesthetic:
* Clean, elegant, and modern.
* A "scientific but warm" feel—it should look authentic but not cold or clinical.
* Excellent typography is crucial.
* Creative and thoughtful use of the provided color palette.
* The final product should feel like a premium, heartfelt, and completely custom piece of art.
Freelancer Requirements:
* A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in layout design, typography, and print design.
* Experience with creating infographics, custom posters, or multi-page documents (like booklets or magazines) is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
* A creative eye and the ability to add artistic flair to a well-defined concept.
