Comprehensive Product Design Brief
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m about to kick off a product-design effort whose single, overriding objective is to improve the product’s functionality. Before any sketches or prototypes begin, I want a solid, shareable roadmap that keeps everyone—from engineers to marketing—moving in the same direction and on schedule.
Here’s what the brief must cover:
• Project objectives, with emphasis on functional improvement goals
• A clear scope of work and out-of-scope items
• Target-audience profile focused on distributors and their specific needs
• Known constraints (technical, regulatory, brand, or resource-related)
• A milestone-based timeline and a high-level budget breakdown
• Success metrics and review points that make it easy to see whether we’re on track
I’ll provide existing research, specs, and any background material you request; you gather gaps through a quick call or questionnaire and then craft the document in Bahasa Indonesia, delivering it as an editable Google Doc or Word file. Visual supports—tables, timeline charts, even a simple infographic—are welcome if they make the information easier to absorb.
Acceptance criteria:
• Executive summary that fits on one page
• Logical structure with clear headings and no fluff
• Actionable tasks tied to dates, owners, and expected outcomes
• Language that can be understood by both technical and non-technical stakeholders
If you have experience writing design briefs, PRDs, or similar foundational documents, please share a sample. I’m aiming for a polished draft within five days.
