Broadcast PCR/MCR IT Support
Budget: ₹600 – ₹6,000 INR
I run a media-broadcast operation that relies on a Production Control Room (PCR) and a Master Control Room (MCR). I need an IT professional who already understands the pressures of staying on-air and can step straight into system maintenance and day-to-day technical support.
Your core focus will be keeping our broadcast chain healthy through regular software updates and tight network configuration. That covers anything from the automation servers and ingest workstations to the play-out gateway and support PCs. If it lives in PCR or MCR and has an IP address or a version number, it is in scope.
I am open to any specific platform or brand—automation, play-out, editing, or monitoring—so long as you have hands-on experience with broadcast-centric software stacks and can demonstrate a solid, methodical approach:
• Audit current versions and dependencies
• Schedule and apply updates with rollback plans
• Optimise switch, router, and VLAN settings for low-latency media traffic
• Provide fast remote or on-site troubleshooting when something breaks
Expect to document each change clearly and test failover paths so we never risk dead air.
If you’re comfortable working inside live PCR/MCR environments and can speak the language of engineers, producers, and operators alike, let’s keep our signals clean and uninterrupted together.
