Upgrade Restaurant Brand Identity
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
We are looking for an experienced brand identity / packaging / interior branding designer to work on a brand refresh for our restaurant brand Ali Bhai.
Important:
This is NOT a rebrand.
The logo will remain exactly the same and must not be altered.
⸻
Project Objective
Refresh the look, feel, and soul of the Ali Bhai brand while keeping its existing identity and recognition intact.
The goal is to evolve the brand visually and emotionally, not replace it.
⸻
Brand Direction
The refreshed identity should be inspired by:
• North Indian street food & dabba culture
• Authentic desi street slang and expressions
• Bold, energetic, and lively street-food vibe
The brand should feel:
• Authentic & approachable
• Fun and expressive
• Street-inspired but clean, modern, and well-designed
⸻
Design Style (Current → New)
• Current interior wall design is inspired by torn / worn Bollywood movie posters, similar to old train station walls.
• We want to move away from the torn/distressed poster look.
• The new direction should:
• Still feel urban and street-inspired
• Be more structured, refined, and intentional
• Use typography, patterns, illustrations, and wallpaper-style graphics
⸻
Scope of Work
The refreshed brand identity should be applied to:
Packaging
• Tea cups
• Takeaway boxes / plates
• Stickers
Uniforms
• Staff t-shirts / aprons (and related items)
Interior Branding
• Internal wall designs / wallpapers
• Typography, slang, illustrations, and patterns
⸻
Deliverables
• Design concepts & mood direction
• Final print-ready files for packaging and uniforms
• Wallpaper / wall graphic designs
• Brand usage guidelines (basic)
⸻
What We’re Looking For
• Strong experience in F&B branding
• Ability to translate street culture into clean design
• Understanding of typography and packaging design
• Good communication and openness to feedback
Please include:
• Relevant portfolio (branding / packaging / restaurant work preferred)
• Estimated timeline
• Project cost
