Premium One-pager Design for Business Owner
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Project: Design a premium 1-page “Owner One-Pager” (PowerPoint + PDF)
I’m looking for a strong designer to turn my provided copy into a highly polished, easy-to-scan one-page one-pager for small and mid-size business owners and referral sources (accountants/lawyers). The audience has limited finance knowledge, so the design must be plain-English, credible, and memorable (not flashy).
Scope / Deliverables
One-page layout in PowerPoint (.pptx) formatted for US Letter (8.5” x 11”)
Final print-ready PDF export
All text must remain fully editable (do not outline fonts)
Brand requirements (must follow)
Colors
Navy: #163A63
Charcoal: #1F2933
Light Blue: #6F9BC6
Brass: #B08D57
Light Gray: #D3D9E2
Parchment (for backgrounds): #F6F1E8
Fonts
Titles/Headings: Garamond
Body: Segoe UI
Design goals
Premium / discreet / trustworthy (institutional, calm, not “salesy”)
Extremely easy to scan (clear hierarchy, excellent spacing/whitespace)
Minimal design elements only (thin dividers, one callout box, small icons if helpful)
No stock photos, no busy patterns, no glossy gradients, no “brochure” look
Designer Notes (read before starting)
Goal: Increase scan-ability and trust. The design should support the message, not add clutter.
Priorities to emphasize visually (in order):
Credibility + discretion
Plain-English clarity (understandable in 15 seconds)
Confidentiality + minimal disruption
“Fit matters as much as price” (memorable takeaway)
“Owner pays $0” (must be unmissable but tasteful)
Suggested layout techniques (lightweight, not busy):
Present “What we do” around 3 questions (Options / Value / Fit) as numbered chips or mini-cards
Format “Why owners avoid this — and how we fix it” as a 2-column ‘Problem → Fix’ layout (4 rows). Optional small line icons.
Add a subtle badge/callout for “Owner pays $0”
Put “Fit matters as much as price” in a single callout box
Use consistent alignment, thin rules, and whitespace to create hierarchy
What NOT to do:
No stock photos
No decorative backgrounds
No cramming text to the margins
Process
First, share 2–3 initial layout directions (quick drafts are fine)
Then we select one direction and you complete a polished final version
Include 1–2 revision rounds for minor layout tweaks
When I’ll share the text
After hiring, I’ll share the current draft copy immediately so you can begin layout
After you share 2–3 layout directions and I choose one, I’ll send the final/frozen copy so you can finalize spacing without reflow churn
To apply, please send
Portfolio examples of one-pagers / pitch decks / investor materials
Confirmation you will deliver editable .pptx + PDF (text must remain editable)
Price + turnaround time
Any suggestions you have to improve readability and hierarchy on a single page
