Modern Gear Mechanic Logo Design

I’m launching a new mechanic business and I need a clean, modern logo that instantly signals “precision and reliability.” The single must-have element is a gear or other obvious mechanical part; beyond that I’m open to your creative spin as long as the end result feels contemporary rather than vintage or minimalist.

Here’s how I see the project unfolding:
• Concept sketches: at least three distinct ideas built around a strong gear motif.
• Refinement: one chosen concept developed through two feedback rounds.
• Final deliverables: print-ready CMYK and RGB files (AI, EPS, PDF) plus high-resolution PNGs with transparent backgrounds and a scalable SVG.

The logo will be used on shop signage, invoices, uniforms and social media, so it has to scale well and remain crisp in monochrome applications.
