Minimalist Earth Tones Logo
Budget: $250 – $750 CAD
I’m seeking a skilled designer to create a modern, minimalist logo and brand identity for Hearthline Integrated Planning Services, a boutique consultancy based on Vancouver Island that specializes in integrated land use planning, development feasibility, and community-building strategies.
The brand should capture the essence of holistic thinking, earth-connected design, and purposeful simplicity. The visual identity must communicate trust, clarity, and professional expertise while staying grounded in nature and community values.
What I’m Looking For:
A clean and professional logo with a modern serif or well-considered sans-serif typeface, paired with an icon that subtly incorporates:
A hearth or central architectural motif, representing warmth, connection, and the community core.
Meandering or flowing lines, evoking rivers, contours, or land formations — a nod to planning, mapping, and land development.
A minimalist aesthetic with earth tones (think clay, charcoal, sand, forest green).
The logo should be versatile for digital, print, signage, and plans. Ideally, the icon should integrate smoothly with the wordmark (similar to how architecture studios or heritage brands align their emblem and name).
About the Company:
Hearthline Integrated Planning Services provides land use planning and development advisory services to municipalities, Indigenous communities, and private landowners across BC and Alberta. Core offerings include:
Site feasibility & due diligence reports
Land use planning (policy review, zoning, bylaws)
Development capacity & yield analysis
Community and stakeholder engagement
Application management (rezoning, subdivision, permits)
Concept planning & coordination with architects/engineers
Urban-rural interface planning & regional growth strategies
We specialize in projects that balance design, ecology, and feasibility — helping clients move from raw land to development-ready concepts with confidence and clarity.
Ideal Skills & Experience:
Strong portfolio in minimalist, architectural, or nature-inspired branding
Ability to create cohesive visual systems beyond just a logo (icon, typography, color palette)
Experience designing for consultancies, planning firms, architecture, or environmental services is a plus
Excellent communication and responsiveness
I’m looking for a designer who understands brand clarity, but can also layer in subtle symbolism. If you feel inspired by the intersection of land, people, and design — I’d love to work with you.
