Investor-Ready Presentation Deck

Project Title: Premium Pitch Deck Template Design in Canva
I run Hard Yards Sports — sports media company — and I need an experienced Canva designer to build a suite of reusable slide templates for a presentation.
The quality of this work needs to be of a high standard, so before you apply, please include samples of your work. Please include at least three presentation or pitch deck samples with your application — ideally pitch decks, capability documents, board presentations or similar built natively in Canva. The final deliverable must be shared as a fully editable Canva file.
What I'm handing you:
Approximately six slides from our existing deck covering a range of layout types — a cover, a two-column content slide, a data and chart slide, a card grid, a comparison table and a closing slide. These give you everything you need to understand the visual language, content hierarchy and tone of the presentation.
You are not being asked to design the full deck — just the template system that lets me build it out confidently on my own.
What I need from you:
A set of reusable slide templates based on the six reference slides I provide:
A cover slide — large type, strong hierarchy, premium feel. Our placeholder name is Hard Yards Sports and it needs to carry weight on the page.
A standard content slide — headline, overline label, body copy and a flexible content area that works for both single and two-column layouts.
A data and chart slide — with placeholder chart areas I can swap for Canva's native charts, accommodating both line charts and stacked bar charts.
A card grid slide — supporting three to nine cards in a consistent grid, each with a title, tag and body text.
A comparison table slide — clean row and column structure with space for highlighted rows and tick or cross indicators.
A closing slide — slightly different in tone and treatment to the rest of the deck, more intimate, designed to land a final impression.
A section divider slide — a simple, elegant transition between major sections.
Our existing deck has been curated with AI, so it needs to be in the hands of a high quality designer to elevate a concept so it can become a reality. The deck currently uses a dark background, gold accents and clean white typography. I'd like you to bring your own aesthetic sensibility to this — I am open-minded with the overall look and feel.
The result should feel premium, confident and distinctly Australian without being loud or over-designed.
Style reference:
This is a copy and data-led deck — not a photo essay. Nothing decorative that doesn't earn its place.
What I don't want: clip art, stock photography of athletes or stadiums, gradient mesh backgrounds, excessive icons, or any layout that looks like an unmodified Canva template with our name dropped in.
