Innovative Branding for Modern Barbershop
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
Creative Brief for Barbershop Name
Project: Create a unique, creative name for a new barbershop brand.
About the shop:
I’m a professional barber building a long-term brand, not just a local shop. The name should feel original, modern, and memorable — something that could grow into a recognizable brand online and possibly multiple locations.
What I want:
• A name that is creative and unexpected, not typical barbershop words.
• Brandable — sounds good as a logo, Instagram handle, and on merch.
• Easy to pronounce and spell.
• 1–2 words preferred (3 max).
• Feels stylish, confident, and contemporary, not old-school or cliché.
• Can be abstract or invented (like “Google,” “Nike,” “Zara” style).
What I do NOT want:
Avoid common barber terms like:
Barber, Barbershop, Cuts, Fades, Blade, Crown, King, Royal, Elite, Studio, Groom, Gentlemen, Sharp, Fresh, Legacy, District, Society, etc.
No generic luxury or street clichés.
Tone / vibe:
• Modern
• Bold
• Creative
• Clean & premium
• Could fit fashion, lifestyle, or grooming brand
Target audience:
Men 18–45 who care about style and image.
Deliverables:
• 20–80 name ideas
• Short explanation for top 5
• Check if names are likely available for domain/Instagram (bonus)
Optional directions:
Open to:
• Abstract/invented words
• Short powerful words
• Names inspired by style, transformation, confidence, or identity
• Multicultural/global feel (not tied to one language)
Goal:
Find a name that doesn’t sound like a barbershop — it sounds like a brand.
